Description
The general objective of the CloudPrecis project is to increase the research capacity in Cloud technologies and the processing capabilities of massive data for the University Politehnica of Bucharest (UPB), Faculty of Automation and Computers, by expanding and modernizing the cloud infrastructure and the storage capacity of the PRECIS Data Center - CNTI, along with the development of a powerful distributed infrastructure for collecting and processing large amounts of data obtained from pervasive or IoT systems and services.
Expansion
Expansion and modernization of the Cloud infrastructure and storage capacity of the PRECIS -CNTI Data Center, together with the development of a strong distributed infrastructure for the collection and processing of large amounts of data through the purchase of processing, storage, and communication equipment.
Optimization
The development of Cloud services to ensure the optimization and efficient management of the Cloud computing and storage resources from the PRECIS Cloud data center, as well as the interconnection to national and international networks.
Data collection
The Development of IT platforms for intelligent data collection and processing for Cloud-Robotics and IoT systems. The ReaderBench platform has been rewritten entirely with new NLP processing services within the CloudPrecis project.
Results
Dissemination, exploitation, and capitalization of the project results, as well as ensuring the sustainability of the Cloud PRECIS data center. Establishing the Cloud-PRECIS center as a landmark in international research and education networks.
