Summer School
About This Event
The Summer School on Natural Language Processing is an intensive program that takes participants from the fundamentals of modern NLP to its current research frontier. Early sessions cover data preprocessing, statistics, classical machine learning, and neural networks, building toward NLP pipelines, word embeddings, Transformers, Large Language Models, and retrieval-augmented generation. Advanced topics include reinforcement learning, preference optimization, synthetic data, and self-supervised learning, complemented by hands-on work with the field's practical tools and resources. The school concludes with a one-month mentored project, in which students apply their knowledge to a real-world AI problem under expert guidance.
